I love the idea of traveling to new places, and getting a clear insight into the local life rather than the tourist experience. When in Florence I ate at restaurants I found in back alleys. When in Scotland I asked the locals for the best fish and chips recommendation. So naturally, the minute I saw this post I started making a list in my head of the next places I wanted to visit in Paris, to get away from the tourist crowds and live like a Parisian, if only for a little while.
